What I Am Thinking Rotating Header Image

Some more pictures I found of us

I found a couple other pictures of me and my sister.  This is pretty nasty of me… how about that hair?  It is from a photo session at our old church we used to go to when we were kids for their directory.  I think it was probably in the 1973 timeframe.  Just a guess.

This is a poor, dystroyed photo but its cool because we were little.  It was obviously taken in one of those ‘photo booth’ machines.  Who knows where?  It could have been at a Woolworths while we were out with my Grandmom shopping… or it could have been taken when my Grandmom  & Grandpop used to take us down to the shore in Wildwood, NJ when we were small.  I imagine it was taken around 1963, 1964 or 1965.

Dude.. it was like 1972 or something! Besides…. it wasn’t that bad. The photo is faded.

I started getting visits from Babe a couple of days ago. I think the 1st time was on Wednesday, Feb 12th. My ceiling fan light came on by itself. It flickered on and off many times. Next was the day after. It was about 4:30am, the light came on and woke up me and my husband. After approx. 5 minutes it went off. Then it came on very dim like it was on a dimmer switch but we do not have it on a dimmer switch. After about 10 minutes it went off. Later that morning, my husband and I were sleeping and he woke up because a female voice called out loudly to wake up. He would have been late for work if this voice had not called his name. By the way, no one was in the house but us sleeping.
I believe that she is with me all the time. She is sending me signs that put me at ease and make me know she is fine and happy. I still cant believe I will never see her again. It feels unreal.
Not a day goes by that I dont think about her a couple of dozen times. I love her like a sister. She remains forever in my heart and mind. Love your cousin Toni

  4. I know your mom thru an online forum where we are both members. Met her there back in the summer. Our thoughts and prayers have been following your mom, Babe and the entire family. Your mom sent us the link to your blog and I deeply appreciate it. Thank you for sharing so many wonderful pictures and your thoughts and memories, It’s always good to be able to put a face with people you already know and feel close to. The particular link I posted goes direct to a page I did while your mom and Babe were on my mind. Hope you’ll keep writing – you never know when someone going thru a similar situation may be helped.

    Hey Cuz,

I remeber that picture. Can’t remember if I remeber it from your parents place or from Grandmom S’s place. As soon as I saw it, I remembered. I am glad that you are able to use technology in such a comforting way. I love the pics.

Ok, I am writing this here for two reasons. I) isn’t this what blogs are for? 2) I think that others probably feel the same. I can’t possibly tell you how my heart aches for all of you. I know how I have felt this past week. Its like a daze. We take for granted the knowledge that our loved ones, even though we don’t see them often, will always be there. I miss all of you. Holidays as a kid were always so wonderful. As we got older, and less family was around- it just wasn’t ever the same. Ok, I am rambling here. It is just too damn difficult to put my feelings into words. I am sure that we all feel that way.

Anyway, I want you to know that througout the years you have all been in my thoughts and prayers- you always have, and always will. I may not see you, but I do want you to know that it is never out of sight, out of mind. I am sending you a cyber hug now! Take care of yourself. Love ya!
